Annual General Meeting 2013
SWARM hosted its second AGM at John Bull building, Plymouth on 12th & 13th December, 2013.
Day One: Mini residential retreat
Attendees were divided in to mini-research groups and discussed their research proposals. Guidance on the viability of the projects and their future development was provided by an experienced faculty.
Master-classes were provided from experts in statistics, ethics & research and development.
Day Two: Evidence-based Medicine
Project proposals from each mini-research group were presented in a Dragon's den style.
Lectures were provided on research methodology & evidence-based medicine.
Topics were selected to allow completion of competencies in the research module of the RCOA training workbook.
