Participant Feedback

...I would like to say a massive thank you for organising what has been the standout day of study leave for me over the last year. I attended hoping to get an idea of what was going on locally, and came away with so much more than I had bargained for: engaging and high profile speakers, some really interesting debate after the lectures, and a refreshing sentiment that research and audit can be passionate, involving, practice-changing and relevant (when they can all too easily and cynically be reduced to little more than box-ticking drudge to get through the next appraisal). In short I came away revitalised and with plans churning round in my head. 5/5s on feedback forms are all to easy to award - I felt like giving some of the sessions the Spinal Tap treatment and turning them up to 6...

...Great as a way in to projects and gained understanding of periop medicine and trainee research groups...

...Very useful and enjoyable day. Well organised and would highly recommend the meeting to any of my colleagues...
