SWARM Survey 1
SWARM Survey 1 was designed to quantify the research experience of trainees within the South West deanery prior to the establishment of SWARM. In May 2012, all trainees within the deanery were sent an email with a link to an anonymous SurveyMonkey questionnaire. The survey contained 9 questions which assessed their involvement in research to date and their attitudes to evidence-based medicine. There was a response rate of 48% (80/167 trainees).
We intend to repeat this survey to determine the effect that SWARM has had on trainee involvement with research.
